SEMICOLONS was a screening programme at Ellen de Bruijne PROJECTS, Amsterdam.
Every week, two films were paired following different lines of thought. Be it the issues they reflect on, the diverse languages they channel, their epistemological and political revindications, or the exploration of elements like the grotesque, the irrational, or alterity. Working in juxtaposition, SEMICOLONS presented a collection of film works in both concurrence and dissonance, conceptually and aesthetically, over the span of seven weeks.
